Tour of Croatia is international gradual cycling race and it will be held from April 22 to 26 on the 900 kilometers long route along the Adriatic coast, Istria and the Croatian inland. Race is ideal medium to promote Croatian natural beauty as it unfolds through nine cities and six counties, and the route will pass through national parks Krka and Plitvice lakes and trough three nature parks: Biokovo, Velebit and Ucka. The potential of this race was recognized by the International Cycling Federation (UCI) by classifying it in the first category, which means it is positioned just behind the most famous bicycle race and a grand tour, such as Tour de France, Giro d’Italia and Vuelta a España. 20 professional teams will participate at this years Tour of Croatia.
