Looking back: QED 2015

25 speakers and experts shared their thoughts, knowledge, and experiences about creativity and innovation with over 200 participants through 16 presentations, 5 workshops and a round table discussion.

Quality in Enterprise Development 2015 was held in Rovinj. 25 speakers and experts shared their thoughts, knowledge, and experiences about creativity and innovation with over 200 participants through 16 presentations, 5 workshops and a round table discussion.

Just like in the years before year, it all started with sporting activities on Sunday. Following that, there was the official opening of the conference where our Vedrana Miholić welcomed everyone present and gave an introduction to the theme of the conference – the evolution of IT. Next up on the QED stage were two experts that have been evolving with IT for more than 30 years: IBM’s software engineer Grady Booch along with the head of the Višnjan Observatory, Korado Korlević.

Lean, agile, creativity, innovation, cloud, knowledge and knowledge management, portfolio priority management – those are just some of the topics we discussed and debated over the two professional days of the conference. Many native and foreign experts shared their experiences and practices with the participants and we hope that many will benefit. We’ll quote Andrea Tomasini, another one of our guest speakers, who said: “Create an agile organization, not by copy-paste, but instead by choosing the methods and values that best suit the specific features of your organization.”
